From unknown microbrewery to a brand that steals the show.
Circus had distinctive beers, but not yet a brand world with the same energy. BrandQs helped structure the transition: from positioning and packaging to a recognisable system that could travel across markets and channels.

Strong beers. A brand that did not yet have the same impact.
Following the acquisition by Brouwerij De Brabandere, there was a clear opportunity: Circus could become much more visible and attractive without losing its idiosyncratic craft spirit.
The challenge was therefore larger than design. The brand needed a world that could connect product character, recognition and commercial usability.

From loose expression to one recognisable brand platform.
The existing packaging did not do justice to the spectacle of the beers. Each product needed character while remaining clearly part of the same family.
BrandQs translated the Circus spirit into a system in which brand codes, mascots, labels and tone of voice reinforce one another.

A visual world that works from bottle to shop floor.
The labels were built like admission tickets to a circus performance: every beer received its own performer and personality, within one recognisable visual grammar.
That brand world was then translated into point-of-sale, launch materials and activation. Design became a working system for both sales and brand experience.

- Launch and commercial translation

A brand transformation that could travel beyond the home market.
The renewed identity created stronger recognition on shelf and a much stronger platform for activation and distribution.
The case shows how a distinctive local identity can scale when brand strategy, packaging and execution are designed as one system from the start — from Belgian launch to execution across markets, including France and specialist retail.

Strong international execution starts not with more variants, but with a brand idea clear enough to translate consistently.
